The Republic Day weekend of 2019 was to be one of the highlights of the year as Hrithik Roshan starrer 'Super 30', Kangana Ranaut starrer 'Manikarnika: The Queen Of Jhansi' and Emraan Hashmi starrer 'Cheat India' were slated to release on the same day. Reportedly, Nawazuddin Siddiqui starrer 'Thackrey' would have been the fourth film to clash with the previous three at the box office but is now slated to release on January 23, 2019. Although all makers of the four movies want to reap the benefits of a national holiday, Hrithik Roshan starrer 'Super 30' has decided to prepone its release by a week averting a clash with 'Manikarnika: The Queen Of Jhansi' starring Kangana Ranaut. The biopic will now release on January 18, 2019.

The makers have revealed that as a biopic, the film will take a while to penetrate the silver screen markets, and so they have decided to pull ahead and release the film earlier. The film is essentially a biopic that is based on the life of the mathematician Anand Kumar. 'Super 30' is helmed by Vikas Bahl and will mark Roshan's comeback, after missing from the limelight for quite a while now. While Kangana Ranaut's 'Manikarnika: The Queen Of Jhansi' is based on the life of Rani Laxmi Bai, as the title suggest. On the other hand, 'Cheat India' starring Emraan Hashmi revolves around the drawbacks of the education system of India.
