The former Bigg Boss contestant Sofia Hayat, who is known for her bold statements and outrageous claims in the media has yet again made quite a bizarre statement. On the auspicious occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi, Sofia took to the photo-sharing app, Instagram and posted a picture of herself worshipping Lord Ganesha.
She further captioned the picture as, "I am Ganesh's mother. I love my Ganesh. Ganesh is Allah. I love my son Allah. Ganpati Bappa Morya.". However, this is not the first time she has made such a claim. Previously, Sofia had said that she had given birth to Lord Shiva. The former actress had renounced all worldly pleasures and had embraced the status of a saint. She also changed her name to Gaia Mother Sofia, soon after that. However, soon after the announcement, Sofia tied the knot with her interior designer boyfriend, Vlad Stanescu. But after a year the duo called it quits, and the actress accused her former husband of being a cheat.
Here's the picture!
Hayat was earlier in the news for visiting and donating to an orphanage after she had declared herself a nun. Reportedly, she was also pooling in all the life savings that she earned through modeling and selling her old London home, in order to build a temple. The temple was said to be specialized in crystal and Tibetan healing, which helps one find their real self. Sofia was born to a family of Muslim Kashmiri immigrants and was then disowned by her parents as she took up modeling, while studying at Sussex University. Sofia is currently a British national of Indian descent and was previously named the new "Curvy Icon" by Vogue Italia. Reportedly, the actress has a degree in Music and Performing Arts and has studied acting for seven years.
