The B-town producer got in touch with Republic TV on this sad occasion as he shared his thoughts. He started out by saying that he was really close to the veteran actor as he said, "I was pretty close to him and we had mutual love and respect for each other. And he shared such great and intimate thoughts about his writing to me."

Other than praising his work on the professional front, Mukesh also called him 'a beautiful human being' as he added, "Above all, above being a talented actor, versatile actor and a brilliant writer, a great human being, a great soul." The producer also paid tribute by stating that such kind of people are not made anymore. 

Mukesh had even more touching words to say on the occasion as he said, "I don't know when the industry will be blessed with a person as versatile and as talented as Kader Khan was, his contribution is unparalleled." Well, the producer's words certainly ring true as fans, celebrities and people from all walks of life mourn the legendary actor, who often charmed the audiences with his wit and effortless looking performances, especially in the field of comedy.

The news of the death of the actor-screenwriter, who was at his peak in the 1980s-90s, comes days after his son dismissed media reports of his demise. Khan had developed breathing issues and the doctors had reportedly transferred him from regular ventilator to BiPAP ventilator. As per reports, he was suffering from Progressive Supranuclear Palsy, a degenerative disease that causes loss of balance, difficulty in walking and dementia. Born in Kabul, Khan made his acting debut in 1973 with Rajesh Khanna's 'Daag' and has featured in over 300 films.
