Taapsee Pannu who has given some amazing and solid roles in critically-acclaimed films like 'Badla', 'Game Over', 'Manmarziyaan' and more recently took to her Twitter handle to take a funny dig at Karan Johar's talk show 'Koffee with Karan' when Vir Das shared a post.

In March, when the makers released the teaser on social media, Vir Das was seen making a speech that says, 'The set of Koffee with Karan is so 'Pink' that Taapsee Pannu can act in it.' Well, the trailer was funny and Karan himself handed Vir the hamper for all that he said about his show. Taking this further, Taapsee too had something hilarious to share. Replying on Vir's tweet, Taapsee wrote: "Hahahahha nice one. Just that Taapsee still doesn’t qualify to be there 😅 I am looking forward to seeing this episode. All you guys are hilarious 🤗 [sic]"

Talking about the same, Taapsee Pannu in an exclusive with Republic Media Network, she said: "Honestly, it wasn't meant to show 'Why didn't you invite me'. My name was mentioned on the set for that set... and I still don't qualify... I just love to take jibes at certain situations. I don't really think deeply before writing this. But in reality, it's a certain show of certain director/producer and they don't think I am fit enough to be a part of the show. It doesn't bother me. If they invite me, I would love to go. But who has made these talk shows a benchmark for how good an actor is, anyway?!

Of late, Taapsee Pannu has been quite combative on social media, whether it is answering fans, or replying to other people from the industry or shutting down the trolls. Throwing light on the same, Taapsee said: "Most of my replies are very spontaneous! When I read something which tempts me to write something in return, I just do it. I only proof read before posting because I don't want to hit anyone below the belt."

"I make sure my language is proper because I don't want it to be nasty and cheap. If they have the right to criticise me, so do I. We live in the same country and exercise the same rights," Taapsee concluded.
