Ranveer has now reportedly taken back his words and accepted that he was arrogant when he made the 'Kaminey' comment.

Ranveer Singh has reportedly responded to this saying, "I think in my first year I was very arrogant. In retrospect, that is not something I should have said. I regret saying that"

The Dil Dhadakne Do actor also defended Shahid's comments on playing Alauddin Khilji differently saying, "What is wrong in saying that, it's stating the obvious. Every actor brings something unique to the table, so every actor will approach a part in his or her own way."

The war of words continues to rage on between Shahid Kapoor and Ranveer Singh. In addition to the aforementioned remark, Shahid Kapoor recently raised eyebrows when he reportedly said that he felt like an outsider on the sets of Padmaavat.
