IFFI: Here's The Actor Akshay Kumar Thinks Will Be Best Suited To Depict Him In His Biopic

As the International Film Festival of India (IFFI) kick-started in Goa on November 20, Bollywood star Akshay Kumar graced the couch along with Information and Broadcasting Minister Rajayvardhan Rathore at the opening ceremony.

As the International Film Festival of India (IFFI) kick-started in Goa on November 20, Bollywood star Akshay Kumar graced the couch along with Minister of State for Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports Rajayvardhan Rathore at the opening ceremony. The event was hosted by Bollywood filmmaker Karan Johar, who reprised his role of an emcee on the stage. While having a quiz round, Karan Johar asked the 'Gold' star, that if a biopic was made on him, which Bollywood actor would he choose to represent him on screen. The actor replied to the same saying that he thinks Ranveer Singh will be the best suited to depict him.

The audience agreed to his decision with a huge round of claps and as the conversation continued Karan Johar revealed that Ranveer is a huge fan of Akshay.  

Ranveer Singh and Akshay Kumar are known for the strong bonds they share. Recently the celebrity duo appeared at Karan Johar's controversial chat show 'Koffee With Karan' Season 6.

On the work front, Akshay Kumar will be seen in 'Kesari' and 'Housefull 4'; while Ranveer Singh will be seen in 'Simmba' alongside Sara Ali Khan.

On the personal front, Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone tied the knot at Villa del Balbianello, Lake Como, Italy. Keeping up with the cultures of both the families, the celebrity couple tied the knot twice- once in the traditional Konkani style and a day after that in traditional Sindhi style. The couple is all set to host their reception in Bangalore on Tuesday, November 20. Reportedly, the pair will also organise a reception in Mumbai.
