Tanushree Dutta-Nana Patekar's row has taken the Indian film industry by a storm. The actress who returned to India from the US after almost ten years recently opened up about the trauma she went through while filming a song for 'Horn Ok Please'. The actress in her latest revelation Bollywood actress Tanushree Dutta accused Nana Patekar of misbehaving with her while filming a song for the film. The actress also lashed out at choreographer Ganesh Acharya for pressurising her for an intimate sequence in the song. Tanushree also accused produce Sami Siddiqui and director Rakesh Sarang of harassing her on the sets of the film.
In a conversation with Republic TV, Tanushree further went on to say, "Not only was I harassed, but the Manse party attacked me, there was a mob lynching kind of a situation that I had to face." the actress added, "It was a horrific incident that changed the way I was looking at this industry."
In her latest statement, Tanushree Dutta said, "Raj Thackeray's MNS party in an interview given to a leading daily (Navbharat times) has threatened me with a violent attack. This on top of other threats issued to me from Nana's side."
The video of the mob lynching that the 'Aashiq Banaya Aapne' actress experienced back in the day has been going viral on the internet. In the video, the actress can be spotted calmly sitting her car while the windshield of the car has been broken with a heavy object. One can also see a man on the sunroof of the car jumping and damaging the car while another man can be seen removing the air in one of the tyres of the car.
Thanking the Mumbai Police for their support, Tanushree Dutta further added, "Amidst all this the Mumbai police has reached out and offered their support.They have promised me 24 hours police protection and have posted their armed personnel around my home. I would like to thank the Mumbai police force for coming forward to protect me and helping me strengthen my resolve."
Recalling another incident, Tanushree reportedly opened up about an incident that took place while she was shooting for 'Chocolate: Deep Dark Secrets' wherein the director of the film asked her to take off her clothes and dance for he co-star Irrfan Khan to give the required expressions for a close-up shot. However, Tanushree mentioned that her co-stars Irrfan Khan and Suniel Shetty took a stand for her as Irrfan shot back at the director saying that he did not need her to do any such thing and that he knew how to act, while Shetty reprimanded the director for asking Dutta to do so, as reported.
