The actor was dressed in a kurta with a Nehru jacket on top. The ‘birthday boy’ was joined by his wife Sunita Ahuja and daughter Tina Ahuja, both dressed in black for the occasion. The mother-daughter duo along with other well-wishers were seen clapping and singing as he cut a grand pink cake, with designs of roses on it. The 55-year-old treated Sunita and Tina a piece of cake and the trio posed merrily for the cameras.

The ‘tilak’ on his forehead was because he and his wife had visited the Siddhivinayak Temple in Mumbai earlier in the day.

Govinda had arrived with his wife and daughter for Priyanka Chopra-Nick Jonas’ wedding reception a day before. Ranveer Singh was among the stars who conveyed his wishes to his ‘Kill Dil’ co-star, by sharing a snap from the event where both are twinning in black traditional outfits. His caption was a term that is synonymous with Govinda, ‘Hero No 1’.
