Hack:

  • Pictures of Kangana, dressed a cop, and performing the wheelee with the help of technicians in Mumbai have surfaced.
  • ‘Mental Hai Kya’, as the title and the first posters had suggested, the story revolves around the quirky characters of Kangana and Rajkummar Rao.

After handling the acting and directorial responsiblities of the ambitious ‘Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi’ with success, Kangana Ranaut took a much-needed break and reportedly participated in a 10-day wellness programme. Since her return, the actress has been firing on all cylinders, first by signing former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalitha’s biopic. The ‘Queen’ star has now resumed the shoot of her next ‘Mental Hai Kya' for which she donned the police uniform recently.

We wonder if the actress is keen to give the other cops like Ajay Devgn’s 'Singham', Ranveer Singh’s ‘Simmba’ and Akshay Kumar’s ‘Sooryavanshi’ a run for their money.

Previously, Deepika Padukone was another actress who had played the role of a cop for an advertisement.

Recently, a similar shoot of the 'Fashion' star riding a horse at a shoot had gone viral. The actress' shoot on a mechanical horse for ‘Manikarnika’ had surfaced. While the actress was trolled, many like Anupam Kher and Paresh Rawal had come out in support of her.

Coming back to ‘Mental Hai Kya’, as the title and the first posters had suggested, the story revolves around the quirky characters of Kangana and Rajkummar Rao. The movie, directed by Prakash Kovelamudi, hits the theatres in May this year.
