Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma rang in the New Year in Sydney and wished their fans with an adorable post on social media.

The couple posed on the streets of Sydney and looked their stylish best, embracing each other while posing for a snap. One can see the Sydney Opera House, one of the famous places in the city, in the background. The actress dazzled in a shimmery one-shoulder dress, while the Indian captain looked dapper in his suited up avatar. Their pair’s smiles were just too delightful.  

It’s come to a point that any ‘Virushka’ moment is incomplete without their selfie, and the couple obliged, giving their fans a brilliant New Year’s gift. The captain conveyed wishes to all in India and around the world to have a ‘wonderful year ahead’ and added, “God bless everyone.” 

In fact, Virat had even informed his fans about him and his ‘one and only’ heading to Sydney for New Year’s Eve with a selfie.

Virat is currently gearing up for the fourth and final test of the series against Australia to be played in Sydney. His team is riding high after a comprehensive win in the third test, taking a 2-1 lead to ensure India retains the Border-Gavaskar trophy.  

Anushka, on the other hand, featured in ‘Zero’ opposite Shah Rukh Khan last month. The actress had played the role of a scientist affected with cerebral palsy in the movie. The film, directed by Aanand L Rai, also featured Katrina Kaif.
