The Deol's - Dharmendra, Sunny and Bobby are back with the third instalment of 'Yamla Pagla Deewana', which is titled as 'Yamla Pagla Deewana: Phir Se'. The teaser of the movie that was released a month ago had the characters introduced, and also featured Salman Khan as a surprise towards the end of the teaser.
Now, it has been revealed that Dharmendra and Shatrughan Sinha will be sharing screen space in the movie. The two will be appearing together after 20 years. They were last seen together onscreen in 'Zulm-O-Sitam' that released in 1998. Shatrughan Sinha took to Twitter to share pictures from the sets on the occasion of friendship day and had some kind words for the Deol family.
Sinha, wrote, "This Friendship Weekend had good moments with sons & great friends. Old, gold, bold & beautiful friends - the one & only Dharmendra, his sons hero Sunny Deol & charming Bobby Deol, along with my lovely daughter like daughter-in-law, Taruna Kush Sinha, on the sets of the most expected, awaited, successful franchise of 'Yamla Pagla Deewana Phir Se', at Film City, Amchi Mumbai.
Talking about his old friend Dharmendra, he wrote,"Old memories were relived, as @aapkadharam is a dear & old family friend & not only our 'Dost' (Gaadi bula rahi hai) days.I fell in love with his personality at first sight when he came to FTII as the Chief Guest when I was a student there & he has always been extremely affectionate & loving like an elder brother. Though we have done many films in the past, this is special as for the first time we shared the same space (mine a friendly appearance) with his wonderful sons @iamsunnydeol & @thedeol Lovely new memories!!!Gr8 going! Happy Friendship Day to all of U."
The trailer of the film will release on August 9, while the film is slated to release on August 31. The film was initially supposed to release on August 15. However, a few weeks back the makers postponed the release of the film. Sunny Deol had said that reason is to avoid a clash with two patriotic films- Akshay Kumar's 'Gold' and John Abraham's 'Satyamev Jayate' which will be releasing on August 15. The film will now clash with Rajkummar Rao-Shraddha Kapoor starrer horror-comedy 'Stree'.
While the first movie released in 2011 did reasonably well with the Deol family cracking up people with their wit, the second instalment failed at the box-office miserably because of its twisted plot and characters.
