After hogging the limelight with her remarkable performance as Komolika in Ekta Kapoor's Television opera 'Kasautii Zindagii Kay', Hina Khan made head's turn yet again with her dazzling debut at the prestigious Cannes Film Festival 2019 on Wednesday, May 15. She graced the red carpet of the international event during the screening of 'Bacurau' and her gorgeous Ziad Nakad couture stole all the limelight. The long shimmery outfit with dramatic trail and sleeves was just the adequate sparkle the night needed.

Following the same, the actress announced her debut film 'Lines' which had a grand launch at the international event. She took to Instagram and unveiled the first look poster of the upcoming venture, and opened up a bit about her character 'Nazia' in the film.
In the poster, the 31-year-old actor is portrayed in a completely different avatar where she is seen wearing traditional jewelry including the jhoomar, maangtika, and dazzling earrings. The poster also showcases bob wires in between which hints the fans that the story might revolve around cross border love or tensions.
Giving out information about the upcoming film, she wrote, "Emotions don't change because of the borders in between, the life and plight of Nazia is a simple portrayal of any girl who faces the magnitude of ordinary challenges in a not so ordinary story. #Lines is my debut in films. I hope you all love it as much as we loved it. This is the first look launched at Cannes and an official poster which depicts more than a poster can!"

The film marks the silver screen debut of the television star, where she will be featured in the lead. As per media reports, the project which is helmed by Hussain Khan is jointly scripted by Kunwar Shakti Singh and Rahat Kazmi. It is backed by Rahat Kazmi, Tariq Khan, Zeba Sajid and been co-produced by Jayant Jaiswal's Hiro Faar Better films.
The film reportedly also stars Farida Jalaal and Rishi Bhutani in the lead roles. As per reports, Rishi will be essaying the role of a Pakistani guy in the film, who will be seen romancing Hina, who will be portraying an Indian Muslim girl. Release date of the venture is yet to be announced.
Meanwhile, the 72nd Cannes Film Festival kicked off on Tuesday with India missing from the official selection for the first time this decade. The 2019 edition of the 12-day festival (May 14 to 25) opened with the screening of Jim Jarmusch's zombie satire 'The Dead Don't Die', one of 21 titles competing for the Palme d'Or. While attending the event, Hina Khan dazzled in several other gorgeous outfits pictures of which she shared on Instagram recently.
