The nation basked in the praise and worship of Lord Shiva on the occasion of Mahashivratri on Monday. Several stars wished their fans and followers with ‘Har Har Mahadev’ and other holy chants and many of them visited temples on the auspicious day too. Kajal Aggarwal, Tamannaah Bhatia, Rana Daggubati and Aditi Rao Hydari celebrated the festival together at the beautiful Adiyogi Shiva Statue in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu.
The statue, which is in the Guinness Book of World Records for Largest Bust Sculpture, is designed by spiritual leader Sadhguru and is located at his Isha Yogi Centre.
As the stars, who are primarily known for their work in South cinema apart from Bollywood ventures, got together, they posed for a selfie with the statue in the background. Calling it the ‘Best way to celebrate #Mahashivratri' and a ‘night to remember’, the actors also shared visuals of the statue decked up in stunning lights.
Director Vignesh Shivan was among the others who also celebrated at the same venue sans superstar-girlfriend Nayanthara.
