The World Cup is currently underway in the United Kingdom, but that’s not the only World Cup being played. The recreation of India's historic 1983 World Cup victory is also going on as the team of ‘83’ starring Ranveer Singh is shooting for the film in England. The actor, who plays legendary all-rounder Kapil Dev, met the real legends, Sunil Gavaskar and Shane Warne recently and his joy knew no bounds.

Ranveer on Sunday took to Instagram to share snaps, where he is posing with his trademark wide smile and lit eyes alongside ‘THE LITTLE MASTER’ Sunil Gavaskar and ‘SPIN KING’ Shane Warne in separate photographs. 

With so many other legendary and other popular players also a part of panel of experts and commentators that are covering the World Cup, it won’t be surprise if Ranveer bumps into some more well-known names too.

Meanwhile, Ranveer has been picking Kapil Dev’s brains to step into the role of the cricketer and even lived with him in Delhi to learn more about the former captain, before he and his team headed to UK.
