Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh has started prepping for his upcoming sports drama '83'. The actor on Saturday, January 12, was spotted at JVPD ground in Juhu with his director Kabir Khan. The film that is based on India's historical 1983 Cricket World Cup Win against England at the Lord's stadium, will see Ranveer play the role of the then Indian cricket captain Kapil Dev. The actor, as usual, looked super-energetic as he kick-starts the new chapter.

Moreover, media reports suggest that the 'Padmavat' actor will be coached by none other than the man himself - the Haryana Hurricane Kapil Dev. However, he was not spotted along with Ranveer and Kabir today.
The actor confirmed the beginning of the practice with an Instagram post where he can be seen practising under the guidance of his coach. He captioned the post saying, "🏏 #kapildev @83thefilm#balwindersinghsandhu @kabirkhankk"

However, Ranveer Singh had started prepping for his role long back. He went all the way up to the Loads to get a feel of the historic win. In some of the pictures shared by the actor in August last year, he was seen posing with director Kabir Khan and Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar.
