In pictures: Taimur jets off for birthday vacation to South Africa with parents Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan

Bollywood actors Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan's son Taimur Ali Khan has been the internet's favourite ever since he was born. As the star kid turns a year older, the Nawab family has finally jetted off for his birthday vacation to South Africa. 

From the pictures that have surfaced, we can see Taimur piggybacking his way to the airport with father Saif Ali Khan while his mother Kareena Kapoor Khan walks alongside them. The soon to be two-year-old looks quite excited as Saif carries him on his shoulders.

Meanwhile, Saif is dressed in a grey tracksuit, Kareena is making the old-school denim jacket look uber cool finishing off her look with a pair of black boots. The trio is has headed off to South Africa where they plan to spend quality time with each other and ring in Taimur's second birthday.

When Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor's son Taimur Ali Khan turned one last year on December 20, the entire family jet-setted to Saif's ancestral home in Madhya Pradesh for an intimate family get-together.

Taimur Ali Khan is one of those cutest star kids who is followed by the paparazzi almost everywhere. However, Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan are not too keen on the kind of attention their child has been receiving. 

 Recently, Kareena had said during a media interaction that she does not wish for her child to get so much attention, but she feels she cannot even help it. She also said that she and Saif are trying to give Taimur as normal a childhood as possible. 

The 'Veere Di Wedding' star further disclosed that at this age he does not understand all the attention he has been receiving, but they will make him understand once he grows a little older. Recently, Saif was miffed at the paparazzi as they were flashing lights at the kid, which was causing inconvenience.
