Yami Gautam chose to spend quality time with underprivileged children from Vimala Society Orphanage on the auspicious occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi

On the auspicious occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi, Yami Gautam chose to spend quality time with underprivileged children from Vimala Society Orphanage at KidZania. The supremely talented youngsters were invited for a programme designed to empower and inspire them through real-life role-playing activities that the establishment offers. As a part of their visit, the kids got creative and made sketches of Lord Ganesha. Yami Gautam shortlisted the top three and felicitated them with hampers, she also encouraged them to enjoy their childhood to the fullest as these are the best times.

While interacting with the actress, the kids posed to be journalists asking her questions. The little reporters asked her about some of her crazy times in school as well as her childhood career aspirations apart from acting. Yami was very candid about some of the fun times she had in school and mentioned that she wanted to be an IAS Officer if not an actor.

Yami was seen having a good time and later shook a leg to 'Nachenge Saari Raat', the celebration continued and ended on a sweet note with confectioneries.

On the work front, the actress was last seen in 'Sarkar 3', the third instalment of the Ram Gopal Varma's franchise starring Amitabh Bachchan, Ronit Roy, Parag Tyagi, Jackie Shroff, Manoj Bajpayee and Amit Sadh. And now, she will be seen in Shraddha Kapoor, Shahid Kapoor starrer 'Batti Gul Meter Chalu' by the makers of Akshay Kumar-Bhumi Pednekar starrer 'Toilet: Ek Prem Katha'. The film is inspired by real events of overbilling and director Shree Narayan Singh along with writers Garima and Siddharth have done extensive research to do justice to the story.

Yami made it big in her Bollywood debut itself, she embarked on her journey with 'Vicky Donor' helmed by Shoojit Sircar, in the film she was seen sharing screen space with Ayushmann Khurrana. It was well received by the audience, while the number showed its magic at the box office making it a hit. The story revolved around sperm donation, a rare subject which was creativity wrapped making the film a complete entertainer.
