The film focuses on the fact that the silent-war going on in Kashmir kept a boy from fulfilling his dreams to play soccer on a professional level. The director of the film, Ashwin Kumar was presented with a National Award for the same. While making the film, the crew had to go through a lot of problems related to permission to shoot, electricity and the political conditions of Kashmir.

The Great Indian Railway

The National Geographic documentary covers all the aspects of how the Railway was built to how it affects the country. This documentary is based on two kids who scavenge India's largest crematorium Manikarnika, to find old rags in order to earn some bucks. This film depicts poverty through a completely new lens and an interesting perspective.

This BBC six-part documentary which is written and presented by the historian Michael Wood will thoroughly inform the viewer about India’s history. The series covers the Indus Valley Civilisation to India's freedom, while extensively studying historical evidence and archaeological findings. The host has also communicated with the locals in order to get first-hand information. The best part about the documentary is it gives equal importance to the history of Southern India, which is otherwise neglected in school books.
