'Insanely Beautiful': Priyanka Chopra, Alia Bhatt, Other Stars Left Mesmerised By Deepika Padukone-Ranveer Singh's First Pictures

The wait is finally over! Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh shared their first pictures as husband and wife on Thursday, 15 November. In a wordless post with just a heart emoticon, featuring their avatars, one in South Indian attires and one according to Sindhi culture, we see the newlyweds looking absolutely adorable. The ‘Bajirao Mastani’ stars are flashing their widest smiles in the former and are captured in a conversation during the latter in the candid pictures.

Naturally, Bollywood stars were also excited to see the first visuals of the couple together as a husband and wife. Arjun Kapoor was the first to congratulate his ‘baba’, using the lyrics of their song from the movie ‘Gunday’, ‘Jashn-E Ishqa’. 

Like he was the first one to comment when the news of the marriage was confirmed a day prior, Karan Johar wished the couple ‘Love and happiness forever’ and again used Hindi words, saying there were ‘full of pyaar wala pictures!’ and that it was a “haiiiiiiiii” wala feeling!’ for those like him who don’t have a life partner. 

Anushka Sharma welcomed the two actors into the 'club' while wishing them a 'world of happiness and a beautiful journey together.'   

Parineeti Chopra called them, "my RV and Dips" while wishing them, 'Lots of love and congratulations.'

On Instagram, Priyanka Chopra and Alia Bhatt were those who commented separately to the two stars’ individual pictures. The former wrote on Deepika’s picture, ‘Insanely beautiful’ and the latter's reply was ‘Uff.’ On Ranveer’s post, Priyanka wrote, ‘Stunning’ and Alia posted hearts galore.

Hrithik wished the couple 'Huge congratulations'  and there were many others who were left speechless and only had hearts for 'DeepVeer.'

The couple looks stunning and defines happiness in the candid wedding pictures posted by them. Deepika looks like a dream in traditional red and gold, while Ranveer chooses a crisp white and gold attire. The couple chose bright red as their Varmala. While the first picture seems to be from the traditional Konkani ceremony, the second picture is from the Sindhi wedding ceremony. 

In the Sindhi ceremony, the couple matched their attire in the classic and gold combo. While Ranveer wore green and red rubies around his neck, Deepika chose a heavy gold tradition mangtika. Deepika unsurprisingly looked ravishing, and her laugh just made the picture even better. Ranveer is seen holding a studded necklace in the picture, looking dapper in white. While the picture is a gorgeous sight for the sore eyes, the laughter is making us wonder what the joke was!

Ranveer and Deepika got married according to Konkani and Sindhi rituals respectively on 14 and 15 November at the Villa del Balbianello at Lake Como, Italy. The couple, who tied the knot after a six-year courtship that started on the sets of their first film together, 'Goliyon Ki Rasleela: Ram-Leela', will be hosting receptions in Mumbai and Bengaluru later this month.
