Inside Edge 2: Angad Bedi reveals his secret cricket coach who trained him for the series

Inside Edge is an Indian web television series based on a fictional cricket team, Mumbai Mavericks that plays in the Power-Play League. The Amazon-based show will be renewed for the second season, and it will air on December 6. Angad Bedi reveals his secret cricket coach who trained him for the series

Angad Bedi’s father is the former Indian cricketer Bishan Singh Bedi. In an interview with a news agency, Bedi stated that he was trained by his father for the series. In the interview, the actor said that he remembered how his childhood was largely on the cricket field and there is no one who knows his every move and every beat of his game process like his dad. He added that no matter who comes on board to couch him, they will not know me as well as his father.

On his training regime with his father, he said that they went back to their gruelling sessions starting as early as 4.30 am after which he would go back to the ground for practice sessions. He stated that after his training the two would play a game stretching over a few overs. His father always has been extremely supportive of Angad’s team, he added.

Talking about his change of heart and his big shift from his cricketing dream to a fulfilling career in acting he said that when he was 17 years old, he announced his decision to leave cricket. His father was heartbroken but he never allowed this to let his son pull back from living his dream. Angad Bedi stated that now when he went back to his father for help, he was forthcoming as always and said that the taskmaster he is, he ensured that his son knew every tough shot like the back of his hand.
