Is Ranveer Singh brave enough to play Badminton against wife Deepika?

Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone have been married for almost a year now. The celebrity couple often talk about their love and affection for each other during public appearances but they also have no hesitation in pulling each other's leg. A fact about Deepika Padukone that everyone does not know is that she is also a national level Badminton player. When she was asked whether or not her husband Ranveer plays with her, she gave a clever and amusing response.

Does Ranveer play Badminton with Deepika?

Recently at an event, Deepika was asked if her husband Ranveer was brave enough to ever play Badminton with her. She responded with a single yes. But then she was asked who won the match. In response, an amused Deepika asked if she even had to answer that question. She also said that if she publicly told the score of their match, then Ranveer would be very upset and would never come back from Hyderabad.

Ranveer and Deepika have worked together in a few movies before they got married. The first movie that the couple worked together in was 2013's Goliyon Ki Rasleela Ram-Leela. They then appeared together in 2014's Finding Fanny, though Ranveer only had a short cameo role in the film. They then co-starred in the films Bajirao Mastani and Padmaavat. Now the couple will both share the screen in the upcoming movie '83, which will also be the first time they feature together in a film after they got married.

The upcoming movie  '83 will star Ranveer Singh in the lead role. The movie is a biopic based on the 1983 Cricket World Cup, which was the first World Cup won by the Indian Cricket team. Ranveer will play the role of Kapil Dev, who was the captain of the team at that time and Deepika will play the role of his wife, Romi Dev. The movie is directed by Kabir Khan.
