Ayushmann Khurrana’s Bala teaser took the internet by storm about a month ago. Bala was one of the most talked-about movies until Abhishek Pathak’s Ujda Chaman came into the picture. Revolving around the similar concept of premature balding, the Sunny Singh starrer will hit the theatres one week before Amar Kaushik’s Bala. Recently, Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety actor announced the trailer of his upcoming film on social media. Ujda Chaman is slated to release on November 8, 2019. The makers directly mocked Bala with the poster that read, “Takle Ki Pehli Aur Asli Film”. Both Ayushmann Khurrana and Sunny Singh's films focus on dealing with societal pressure and low self-esteem caused to men because of a receding hairline.

Ujda Chaman trailer

The Pyaar Ka Punchnama actor unveiled the official trailer which showcases him in a bald avatar. Sunny Singh plays a 30-year-old unmarried man Chaman Kohli. He is made fun of and called Ujda Chaman, a slang used in North India to refer to a bald person. Apart from the usual leg-pulling and practical jokes, the actor also suffers rejection from girls. That is just a tip of the iceberg, as a pandit reveals to him that if he remains unmarried till the age of 31, he will stay unmarried forever and hence, putting him in a panicky situation. The trailer features Four More Shots and Tripling actor Maanvi Gagroo alongside Sunny Singh.
