And much to the delight of fans, it was recently announced that Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan are all set to share screen space once again. The couple, who will feature together in a film after a gap of 8 years, will be seen in Anurag Kashyap’s next titled ‘Gulab Jamun’. Reports now suggest that Aishwarya turned down a Sanjay Leela Bhansali film in order to fit in dates for ‘Gulab Jamun’. As per reports, the dates of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s film and ‘Gulab Jamun’ were coinciding with one another and as a result, Aishwarya had to pick either one of the two films. The actress was reportedly already in talks with Bhansali when ‘Gulab Jamun’ was offered to her and Aishwarya chose the film which reunites her and Abhishek on-screen. According to reports, Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan will play never seen before characters in ‘Gulab Jamun’. Reportedly, Aishwarya had revealed that the couple had decided to work together when Abhishek returned to films with ‘Manmarziyaan’ which is directed by Anurag Kashyap. The couple last shared screen space in Mani Ratnam's film 'Raavan' (2010).
