Is This Why Shah Rukh Khan Posted A Heartwarming Message For Riteish Deshmukh?

  • Shah Rukh Khan took to Twitter on November 5 to convey a lovely message for Riteish Deshmukh.
  • He wrote how his younger brother had become ‘big’ and thanked his ‘baby’ for the ‘love’, ‘respect’ and ‘largesse of heart’.

Shah Rukh Khan had not one, not two, but three reasons to celebrate recently. One was obviously, his 53rd birthday, which was celebrated in grand style. The day also served as a dual celebration as the superstar also launched the trailer of his upcoming movie ‘Zero’ at a star-studded event. As Indians across the globe also gear up for Diwali, the actor also threw a big bash at his residence where the who’s who of Bollywood came out in their best-dressed avatars. As the ‘Zero’ trailer got praises galore and hits in millions, SRK was so happy that along with conveying his thanks, he also indulged in an #AskSRK sessions with his fans.

But it is neither of the three, but another reason that made Shah Rukh ‘grateful’ and ‘touched’ recently. The ‘Om Shanti Om’ star took to Twitter on November 5 to convey a lovely message for Riteish Deshmukh. He wrote how his younger brother had become ‘big’ and thanked his ‘baby’ for the ‘love’, ‘respect’ and ‘largesse of heart’. Shah Rukh concluded his post by expressing his happiness on asking something from a friend who kept SRK's self-respect above his own need.

Though it isn’t confirmed yet, the reason for Shah Rukh’s message for Riteish is apparently because the latter shifted the release date of his Marathi movie ‘Mauli’, which was scheduled to clash with the SRK-Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma starrer.

The two stars go a long way. Riteish was one of the celebrities who made an appearance in the grand ‘Deewangi Deewangi’ song from ‘Om Shanti Om.’ On the other hand, SRK had also made a special cameo with the song ‘Mast Kalandar’ in his ‘Heyy Babyy.’ Even during the release of ‘Bank Chor’ in 2017, Riteish had joked about Shah Rukh giving away his ‘King of Bollywood’ tag, while SRK had reacted sportingly to him morphing a ‘Jab Harry Me Sejal’ poster for the movie's promotions.
