Ranbir Kapoor-Alia Bhatt fans have been wanting the couple to get married and it wouldn't be right to blame them after looking at their loved-up moments for quite some time now. The most recent example was when they both won Best Actor awards at a recent event. However, for the actress, her bond with her 'Brahmastra' co-star is not a relationship, but friendship. In a recent interview, Alia was asked about dealing with someone as ‘difficult’ as Ranbir, and she countered that her boyfriend is not ‘difficult’, but is a ‘gem.’

The actress also gave a strong reply when asked about the ‘Sanju’ star’s ‘troubled past’ with reference to his relationships, by saying that it was a part of one’s life and it didn’t matter. She then quipped that she also wasn’t any less in that department.

Opening up on their equation, the ‘Raazi’ star said it was not a relationship, but friendship. Alia shared that she feels beautiful, like walking on the clouds and stars right now.

The 26-year-old added that the best part is that both are at their professional peak right now with continuous shooting and not always together. According to her, that signified their ‘comfortable relationship’ and hoped ‘Nazar na lage’. Referring to the book ‘My Brilliant Friend’, Alia stated that Ranbir is her ‘brilliant friend.’
