'It's time to create Total Dhamaal at the polling booths,' Prime Minister Narendra Modi tags Anil Kapoor, Ajay Devgn and Madhuri Dixit in 'Vote Kar' campaign

PM Modi appeals celebrities to spread #VoteKar campaign, ahead of 2019 Lok Sabha Elections. Here's what he said -

Ahead of the 2019 Lok Sabha Elections, Prime Minister Narendra Modi starts a new campaign called #VoteKar. Tagging several celebrities across different sectors, Modi asked them to create voter awareness.

Tagging Anil Kapoor, Madhuri Dixit and Ajay Devgn, Modi wrote: "Dear @AnilKapoor, @ajaydevgn & @MadhuriDixit, 

After the box office, it is time to create Total Dhamaal at the polling booths. Your support to the #VoteKar movement will augur well for India’s democracy. Let us ensure high voter turnout!" [sic]

Meanwhile, he also wrote: "My fellow Indians, The time has come to say- #VoteKar. In the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, ensure that you as well as your family and friends turnout in record numbers. Your doing so will have a positive impact on the nation’s future." [sic]

Prime Minister Narendra Modi a few days back posted a series of tweets encouraging the voters of India to turnout in huge numbers in the upcoming Lok Sabha 2019 elections that are scheduled to take place in April-May. He urged the leaders of Bollywood, by tagging them on Twitter to create awareness among the citizens on the importance of voting, which is a paramount task in front of the nation currently.

PM Narendra Modi also shared 'Four requests for Democracy' wherein he appealed to the eligible young voters to register for voting and encouraged people to spread awareness about the importance of voting in the upcoming Lok Sabha polls. 

His four requests to the citizens of the country include: 

  • Register now 
  • Check thoroughly 
  • Plan well 
  • Mobilise others 

The “four requests”, as put out by PM Modi, are for the eligible voters to get themselves registered, make sure their names figure in the list of electoral rolls, plan their voting schedule to make sure they use franchise and to mobilise friends and families to vote in large numbers.
