The one-line synopsis, as reported by PTI, seems exciting, "When her husband is framed and imprisoned for serial murders, a doting wife must perform a murder exactly like the serial killer, to prove her husband innocent."

Moreover, Jacqueline’s first look in black-and-white might just bring back memories of Alfred Hitchcock films.

Netflix India announced the news with a quirky caption, “Just a very excited PSA that @Asli_Jacqueline is officially part of the Netflix fam with Mrs. Serial Killer. Here's hoping that if we are ever framed for murder, she's got our back!”

Jacqueline too expressed her excitement, “Super stoked to announce my new @NetflixIndia Original film, Mrs. Serial Killer is coming soon. This is going to be fun @TheFarahKhan @Shirishkunder @shrishtiarya.”

The filmmaker couple is coming together after a while. Shirish Kunder’s last venture, a short film on digital medium, ‘Kriti’ in 2016, was also a thriller. This will be his first feature film after ‘Joker’ in 2012. Farah, too, has not directed a film since ‘Happy New Year’ in 2014, but she has been signed on by Rohit Shetty to direct action-comedy films for his banner.
