The makers of 'Jalebi' release the trailer for the film

After releasing a very interesting poster of the film ‘Jalebi’, the makers have now released the trailer for the film. The two-and-a-half minute trailer shows glimpses of the lead pair Rhea Chakraborty and Varun Mitra’s budding love story and how they grow apart.

Varun Mitra plays a charming tourist guide of Delhi and attends to Rhea Chakraborty and her friends who are on a visit to the city. Chakraborty's character falls for Mitra’s character’s and soon decide to get married. Rhea Chakraborty has a strong cultural disconnect with the family she gets married into.

She turns out to be an ambitious woman, who gets promoted to the post of senior copywriter and becomes the youngest partner of her company. However, her husband disapproves of it as he feels that moving away from his family and house will ruin their relationship. Rhea then moves out, getting separated from him. Well, the two meet after years, with their lives on different paths. Their separation invokes bitter feelings for each other.

The trailer also shows glimpses of violence and exotic locations where the lead pair are seen romancing. The background score by Jeet Gannguli, Tanishk Bagchi, Javed-Mohsin, Abhishek Mishra and Samuel-Akanksha bring the story to life. 

Sharing the trailer of the film, the producer Mukhesh Bhatt wrote, "Some love stories go beyond “.....and they lived happily ever after.” Here’s the #JalebiTrailer"

The train seems to have a significance, as the poster had a train and even the trailer begins and ends in a train. The poster of the film reflected how deep in love the two are. In the poster, Rhea is seen leaning from the window of a train and kissing her lover essayed by Varun.
