John Abraham Unveils The New Poster Of 'Batla House'

John Abraham released a new poster of his upcoming venture 'Batla House' on Saturday, September 22. The film is scheduled to release on on August 15, 2019.

Bollywood actor John Abraham who has previously starred in several patriotic-action films including 'Force', 'Parmanu: The Story Of Pokhran', 'Satyameva Jayate', is now all set to star in upcoming film 'Batla House'. Following the announcement of the film on Friday, September 21, the actor released a new poster for the upcoming venture on Saturday, September 22. As mentioned in the teaser poster the actor who can be seen sporting a police uniform in the new poster will be featured as India’s most decorated/controversial cop. The 'Satyameva Jayate' star shared the new look through a Twitter post and wrote, " "95 mins that took 8yrs to be resolved and changed his life forever." Previously on Friday, September 21, the 45-year-old took to social media and teased the first look from the flick. He unveiled two posters from his upcoming venture. While the first image did not show his face clearly, it was superimposed with various clippings like 'Controversial Cop', 'Convict Dilshad Ahmed Gets Life Term', etc. The second picture showed his face clearly and had a tagline that read, "India’s most Decorated/Controversial Cop". He is featured donning the 'Khaki' uniform in the poster too and the name on his badge reads 'Sanjay Kumar'. 

In the first Twitter post, John wrote, "Every story has two points of view. One WRONG. The other RIGHT. But what if the lines are blurred? Very very blurred! @itsBhushanKumar @nikkhiladvani @TSeries @EmmayEntertain @johnabrahament @bakemycakefilms"

As per reports, the upcoming film is based on the 2008 incident of 'Batla House encounter', officially known as Operation Batla House, which recorded the encounter of Indian Mujahideen (IM) terrorists in Batla House locality in Jamia Nagar, Delhi on September 19, 2008. Scripted by Ritesh Shah of 'Pink' fame, the movie will be helmed by 'Airlift' director Nikkhil Advani. The film will be produced by Bhushan Kuman and Krishan Kumar and will be co-produced by Monisha Advani, Madhu Bhojwani, Sandeep Leyzell, and the lead actor John Abraham. 'Batla House' is staled to hit the theatres on August 15, 2019. John Abraham's 'Batla House' will clash with Amitabh Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Akkineni Nagarjuna starrer 'Brahmastra' and Rajkummar Rao and Mouni Roy starrer 'Made In China'.
