Joining the Bandwagon Shah Rukh Khan Visits Rishi Kapoor In New York

As Bollywood veteran, Rishi Kapoor is currently undergoing medical treatment in the United States of America, several Bollywood celebrities including  Alia Bhatt, Priyanka Chopra, and Anupam Kher have been visiting the actor and spending time with him. Joining the Bandwagon, now Bollywood's 'Baadshah' Shah Rukh Khan also reportedly paid a visit to the actor in New York along with wife Gauri Khan and daughter Suhana Khan. 

On Saturday, November 17, Rishi Kapoor took to Twitter and suggested the meeting. In a post, he thanked the Khan family and wrote, "Thank you @iamsrk Gauri and Suhana! Very gracious of you."

On September 29, this year, Rishi Kapoor took to Twitter and announced that he will be taking a short break from work, as he is going to get some medical treatment in the West. He flew to New York with wife Neetu Kapoor and son Ranbir Kapoor. In the post, he urged all his fans not to speculate as he will be back soon and he just needs their love and good wishes. His tweet read as, "Hello all! I am taking a short leave of absence from work to go to America for some medical treatment. I urge my well-wishers not to worry or unnecessarily speculate. It’s been 45 years “plus” of wear and tear at the movies. With your love and good wishes, I  will be back soon!"

Rumours were rife that the veteran actor had cancer, but his older brother Randhir Kapoor denied the rumours and said nothing of such sort has happened. Meanwhile, Rishi Kapoor also met former Bollywood actress Sonali Bendre in the States who is battling breast cancer at the moment.
