Despite divided reviews, Bollywood actors Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani's 'Kabir Singh' has been doing great at the box office. Recently, the film attained yet another remarkable feat by crossing the Rs. 100 crore mark on Day 5 of its release.
Trade Analyst Taran Adarsh took to Twitter and made the announcement of the same. In a recent post, he revealed that the film has grossed a total of Rs.104.90 crore and declared it a blockbuster.
In the post, he wrote, "#KabirSingh cruises past ₹ 100cr... Shahid Kapoor scores his first *solo* century... Extraordinary trending on weekdays... Eyes ₹ 130 cr+ total in Week 1... Fri 20.21 cr, Sat 22.71 cr, Sun 27.91 cr, Mon 17.54 cr, Tue 16.53 cr. Total: ₹ 104.90 cr. India biz. BLOCKBUSTER."
Following the same, Adarsh also revealed that the romantic drama has beaten several other Bollywood films that released earlier this year. The list included Akshay Kumar's 'Kesari' and Ranveer Singh's 'GullyBoy'.

'Kabir Singh' has hit the theaters on Friday, June 21, and has recorded mixed responses from the viewers. The film has been dragged into controversy post its release as several critics and social media personals have described the film as 'misogynistic' that celebrates toxic masculinity.
The film is a Hindi remake of Tamil film 'Arjun Reddy' which is helmed by the same director Sandeep Reddy Vanga. It narrates the story of an alcoholic surgeon named Kabir Singh, who has anger management issues. He goes on a self-destructive path after being separated from his ex-lover. It is jointly produced by Bhushan Kumar, Murad Khetani, Krishan Kumar and Ashwin Varde.
