'Kalank': Hours before 'First Day First Show', Karan Johar brings Varun Dhawan, Alia Bhatt, Aditya Roy Kapur, Abhishek Varman in one frame to convey his excitement

Like the time for preparation gets over before the examination, the D-Day has come for Karan Johar’s ‘Kalank’ team. The multistarrer hits the theatres on Wednesday, and the filmmaker clicked a selfie with Varun Dhawan, Alia Bhatt, Aditya Roy Kapur and director Abhishek Varman hours before the First Day, First Show would play around the world.

Sharing the selfie with half the members of his lead cast, Karan wrote on Instagram, “#Kalank!!!!! Tomorrow!!!!!!❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️.” 

Obviously, Sonakshi Sinha, Madhuri Dixit Nene and Sanjay Dutt were conspicuous by their absence in this picture. The snap was taken at a special screening of the movie.

‘Kalank’ is among the most anticipated releases of the year due to its star-studded cast. The return of Varun-Alia's hit pairing, numerous songs catering to the masses and some like 'First Class' being successful,  action and drama set in the pre-Independence era in the ‘40s are some of the major factors working for the movie.
