  • The first track from the movie ‘Kalank’, ‘Ghar More Pardesiya’, has been launched by the makers on Monday and it again showcases the grandeur of the multistarrer.
  • The two actresses are looking absolutely stunning in traditional attires and the same goes for the visuals of the festival and song-and-dance sequence.
  •  The classical song composed by Pritam is definitely catchy and the vocals of Shreya Ghoshal, Vaishali  Mhade and lyrics by Amitabh Bhattacharya lift it further.

The song that gave Alia Bhatt ‘sleepless nights’ has finally been unveiled, but the actress can be proud of it. The first track from the movie ‘Kalank’, ‘Ghar More Pardesiya’, has been launched by the makers on Monday and it again showcases the grandeur of the multistarrer.

The video features Varun Dhawan and Alia’s characters arriving at a religious celebration involving men dressed as Lord Hanuman and other gods. The latter happens to see a musical session being led by Madhuri Dixit in a palace and she too joins in and displays her vocal and Kathak skills, leaving the veteran impressed.

The two actresses are looking absolutely stunning in traditional attires and the same goes for the visuals of the festival and song-and-dance sequence. The only thing probably missing is that Madhuri doesn’t dance, otherwise it would’ve definitely taken us back to her iconic dance with Aishwarya Rai in ‘Dola Re Dola’ from ‘Devdas.’ It’s more of a ‘jugalbandi’ this time of the two and nonetheless, is impressive.

The classical song composed by Pritam is definitely catchy and the vocals of Shreya Ghoshal, Vaishali  Mhade and lyrics by Amitabh Bhattacharya lift it further.

Alia had earlier shared a still to share how the track had made her nervous and given her sleepless nights. With her performance in front of a veteran like Madhuri, we now why she said so, but the 'Dhak Dhak' girl would surely be impressed like we are.

'Kalank', directed by Abhishek Varman, also stars Aditya Roy Kapur, Sonakshi Sinha and Sanjay Dutt and releases on April 17.
