Controversial Twitter personality Kamaal Rashid Khan aka KRK's reviews on videos, in his typical style, generally range from negative to outright ugly. And the latest movie to release, ‘2.0’ starring Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar, also got a similar treatment from the actor.
KRK trashed the movie left, right and centre, calling it the ‘worst movie’ he has ever watched and termed it a ‘sheer waste of time, energy and money.’
After slamming the movie, he called out the so-called ‘paid critics’ who gave the movie 5-star reviews as he felt it was not possible for a movie to be completely perfect and without any flaw, something a 5-star review indicates.
Also as the movie’s collections came out, Rs 20.25 crore, only for the Hindi version, KRK was convinced that the movie is a ‘disaster’ as he felt that with the budget of Rs 600 crore, the movie needed to be a business of at least Rs 800 crore.
He even claimed that the movie has witnessed a drop on the second day and so it was possible for it to earn only Rs 350 crore at the most. Kamaal also tweeted his fans to answer a poll as to the magnitude of the movie’s losses, from Rs 100 crore to 200 crore.
However, netizens gave KRK the treatment that he meted out to the movie, by slamming him. And some were just curious to know why he was spreading negative reviews and some who said he was doing so for publicity. One gave the examples of ‘Bahubali 2’, ‘Sanju’, ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ and ‘Sultan’ which had become blockbusters despite his review. Most were of the opinion that the movie will show a jump in the collections, and that would only lead to his credentials being affected. Many of them trolled him for his movie ‘Deshdrohi’ asking what were the collections of that film.
