Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut recently wrapped up for the shoot of her next film 'Manikarnika: The Queen Of Jhansi'. Now, the actor has two more projects in her hand, which are in the production stage. She will be seen in Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari's directorial 'Panga' and Prakash Kovelamudi's 'Mental Hai Kya'.
Reportedly, the actress has to gain 10 kilograms in order to look the role. Previously, the 'Queen' actress played the role of a hockey player for 'Tanu Weds Manu Returns'. For 'Panga', the actress has to not only learn the game but also has to undergo a physical transformation. As per reports, Kangana Ranaut will start training for Kabbadi as soon as she is back from her vacation In New York. The report further states that even though the 'Krrish 3' actress is familiar with the sport, she requires training to showcase it like a professional.
However, before she begins training, she has to put on weight. For that, the 'Fashion' actor is on a high-calorie protein diet, and, over the next month, intends to pack on six kilos. As per the report, as the film progresses, Ranaut will be gaining the remaining four kilos as well.
On the other hand, the actress was making headlines recently when her film had hit the rock. Kangana Ranaut had to take over the role of the director of 'Manikarnika: The Queen Of Jhansi' after she and the makers felt that the film required re-shooting of certain scenes and patchwork. The director Krish, had already moved on to another project and did not have dates for 'Manikarnika'.
Post this, reports of Sonu Sood walking out of the film had surfaced. Kangana alleged that he walked out as he did not want to work with a female director. However, Sonu Sood denied it and said that he walked out because of Ranaut's incompetency. Later on, another actress also walked out of the film as she felt her role had lost substance, with Sood walking out of the film.
However, things seemed to have settled, as the release date remains unchanged and the teaser of the film, that released on October 2, garnered a positive response from the audience.
