'Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi' stars Kangana Ranaut and Ankita Lokhande in pivotal roles. Recently, the makers of the film revealed the date on which the film's trailer will be launched and also shared a new still.

The trailer of Kangana Ranaut's 'Manikarnika: The Queen Of Jhansi' is all set to release on December 18, and the actor claims that it will be a never seen before the affair. During the media interaction, the actress stated that her marketing team is planning a very exciting, and never seen before the trailer launch. She further added that the entire team is prepping for it like a grand wedding.  

Along with the release date, a new still from the film shows the actor sitting on the throne of Jhansi in her complete royal finery. The teaser of the film released last month and received positive responses. Kangana plays the warrior Queen of Jhansi and had several gripping battle scenes involving sword-fighting and bloodshed.

Previously, the producer of the film had called it a visual spectacle and had said that the teaser of the film has been liked by many and hopes that the trailer brings in more excitement. The film has been a party of several controversies since long. While Kangana was reportedly accused of taking over the film’s direction, the makers were also reported to have not paid the dues of some crew members. They had, however, denied all such reports.

The film stars Ankita Lokhande and Jisshu Sengupta apart from Kangana Ranaut. 'Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi' was initially slated to release by the end of 2018. However, the film is now slated to release on January 25, 2019 and will clash with Hrithik Roshan's 'Super 30' at the box office. Meanwhile, the actress has also been vocal on the ongoing movement calling out Vikas Bahl for his misconduct towards her.
