Kapil Sharma addresses allegations of 'hurling a shoe' at Sunil Grover, here's what the ace-comedian said

Bollywood actor and comedian, Sunil Grover starred in Kapil Sharma's shows - Comedy Nights With Kapil and the previous seasons of The Kapil Sharma Show. However, the 41-year-old comedian quit 'The Kapil Sharma Show', after Kapil reportedly abused him while he was flying home from Melbourne last year.

However putting all the rumours to rest, ace-comedian Kapil Sharma addressed the allegations of 'hurling a shoe' at Grover on Arbaaz Khan's talk show 'Pinch'

He said, "People said I hit him with a shoe, some said I got angry because my team ate before me...do you think I look like that? All of this was cooked up. Neither Sunil claimed any of this happened, nor have I ever said that I said or did these things. A third person is narrating the incident and the fourth person is writing articles on it. You are writing about me, at least talk to me once" 

On the professional front, Kapil Sharma is doing quite well as the TRP's of his show, 'The Kapil Sharma Show' are sky-rocketing. It also beat Sunil Grover's 'Kanpur Wale Khurranas'. 

Grover's show however soon went off the air as he had signed up for a mini-series with the channel as he also has to shoot for 'Bharat'. The film apart from him stars Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif in pivotal roles.

In an interview, he revealed that he had signed the show for eight weeks only as his dates were booked for the upcoming film. He further added that he had made the same clear during the press conference and interviews. 

Meanwhile, on the personal front, Kapil Sharma and Ginni Chatrath tied the knot in Jalandhar on December 12. The comedian's family hosted a Jagran before the wedding which was attended by friends and colleagues such as Krushna Abhishek and Bharti Singh.
