Director-turned-producer Karan Johar who has been in the news because of his chat show 'Koffee With Karan' recently revealed that his favourite actor of all times is Ranbir Kapoor. The two have previously worked on 'Ae Dil Hai Mushkil' that fared well at the box office. Before that, the two have collaborated in the movie 'Wake Up Sid' too. Calling out a few other actors namely Kiara Advani, and Ishaan Khatter, he revealed that they are very talented and is excited to see their careers unfold.

Earlier reports suggested that producer Karan Johar is to launch Miss World 2017, Manushi Chhillar. The untitled film is all set to go on floors in 2019, reports suggest that Chhillar has done a photo shoot and the look test for Dharma Productions. On the work front, Karan recently announced the sixth season of his popular chat show, 'Koffee With Karan'.

The show is all set to air on October 21 and is known for being a show where several celebrities have made controversial statements in the past and spoken about their life. Along with the chat show, he is to host a radio show, at Ishq 104.8 FM, where he will be giving love and relationship tips to the callers, the show has been titled as 'Calling Karan'. Recently, he also rated Ishaan Khatter and Janhvi Kapoor as a couple in his radio show.

Along with this, he is also set to direct a war epic titled 'Takht'. The film will star Bhumi Pednekar, Kareena Kapoor, Ranveer Singh, Vicky Kaushal, Ali Bhatt, Janhvi Kapoor and Anil Kapoor in the lead. After the announcement of the period drama, the audience trolled Johar for his big-budget films and promoting star kids through it. Johar has always been dragged into every nepotism debate, especially after Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut accused Johar of being the 'flag-bearer of nepotism'. His recently produced the film 'Dhadak' starring Janhvi Kapoor and Ishan Khatter, that fared well at the box office and crossed the 100-crore mark.
