Former cricketer and 'Bigg Boss 12' contestant Sreesanth stated in an interview that the host of the talk show, Karan Johar too is responsible for cricketers Hardik Pandya and KL Rahul's controversial statements.

Reacting to their statements, Sreesanth stated that Karan Johar should have stopped the Indian all-rounders, as the 'anchor knows when the guest is flying'. Holding Johar responsible for the controversial statements too, he said that if a question is asked without having proper information about the guesr, then it may cause a problem, and then he/she might regret saying it.

After the episode aired, the Indian all-rounders faced major flak on social media after for bragging about their 'hookups' with several women.  Despite an apology, the two cricketers were recalled from the Australia tour and charged with misconduct and indiscipline. A committee of administrators (COA) has now asked the Supreme Court to appoint an ombudsman to investigate the case.

Hardik has been slammed mercilessly for his sexist, misogynist and racist comments. Some of his statements that sparked a row were when he stated that he likes to ’observe’ women ‘move’ as he was from ‘black side’ on why he never asked for their names.

He boasted about his sex life to his parents and they were fine with it and also revealed how they felt proud when he pointed out multiple women in a party on who interests him. The cricketer also said the man who has ‘talent’ wins the girl after Rahul said it’s up to the girl on the question "If you all hit on the same women, then how do you decide?"
