An evening jam-packed with dozens of celebrities from the celluloid world. Filmmaker Karan Johar sure did have the perfect Saturday night party when he hosted people from the film fraternity. From Deepika Padukone, Ranbir Kapoor, Arjun Kapoor to Vicky Kaushal, almost everyone from tinsel town was part of the star-studded evening on July 28 at Karan Johar's pad.

The filmmaker gave a sneak peek into his party by posting a video on Instagram. Those seen in the clip include Deepika, Malaika Arora, Arjun Kapoor, Shahid Kapoor, Mira Rajput Kapoor, Varun Dhawan, Natasha Dalal, Zoya Akhtar, Milind Deora's wife Pooja Shetty Deora, Vicky Kaushal, Ayan Mukerji and Ranbir Kapoor.

The video which is being recorded by host Karan Johar himself, begins with Deepika posing with director Shakun Batra (Kapoor and Sons fame), followed by Malaika's wink, to Karan zooming on Malaika's boyfriend Arjun Kapoor who is seen talking to Shahid Kapoor.

Karan's camera then focuses on Varun Dhawan who is busy chatting with Zoya Akhtar. The camera then shifts to Vicky Kaushal who instantly rubs his nose and Karan pans the camera to director Ayan Mukerji who is seen hiding something behind him. The video ends with Ranbir Kapoor asking 'What is Karan recording' and Mira Rajput waving at the camera.

Massive fight breaks out between MLA Sirsa and Milind Deora

The said video has triggered a massive controversy between the politicians and has lead to an intense debate on social media among the netizens. Why, you may wonder?

MLA Manjinder S Sirsa took to his Twitter page calling the party 'Udta Bollywood' and accused the celebrities in the video of taking drugs. Minutes later, Mumbai Congress chief Milind Deora came out in the defence of the celebs and slammed Sirsa on Twitter, stressing on the fact that his wife was also present in the party and nobody was in a 'drugged state'. Deora also demanded an apology but Sirsa has not said anything in response to Deora's tweet yet. Director Karan Johar also has maintained silence and hasn't commented on the controversy.
