The Begum of Bollywood Kareena Kapoor Khan arrived at the grand wedding of Akash Ambani and Shloka Mehta with sister Karisma Kapoor and friends. The Kapoor sisters dazzled in gorgeous traditional attrires as they graced the event.

While Kareena donned a sky blue embroidered lehenga for the evening, Karishma looked stunning in a gold embroided saree. Both the sisters wore statement neckpieces to accessorise their look.

However, neither Saif Ali Khan nor the children were spotted arriving at the event.

Reliance Chairperson Mukesh Ambani and Nita Ambani's son, Akash Ambani will tie the knot with Shloka Mehta in a grand ceremony on March 9 in Mumbai. The wedding will take place today at the Jio World Centre in Bandra Kurla Complex, Mumbai at 7.30pm. Prior to that, the Mangal Baaraat will assemble at the Trident in Mumbai at 3.30pm. From there the baaraatis will leave for the Jio World Centre, where a high tea will be hosted for the guests at Jio 6.30pm.

As the guests start arriving, we can't help but stare at the beautiful floral wall built right at the entrance for the guests. Decked up with shades of pink and green, the entrance looks stunning.

Apart from that, there is an elephant statue. The roof is decorated with white wisteria hanging flowers, and it sure looks extraordinary.

he wedding festivities of this royal affair began on February 23, 2019 with a grand bash in St. Moritz, Switzerland. Many Bollywood celebrities like Shah Rukh Khan, Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor, Sonam Kapoor, Rhea Kapoor, Karan Johar, Malaika Arora and Arjun Kapoor among others. The celebrations took place at the Badrutt Palace.

The celebrations in Switzerland saw performances by Chris Martin of Coldplay and The Chainsmokers.

A private musical night at Antilia, followed by the Mala and Mehendi function, a Sangeet ceremony and Anna Seva at the Jio World Centre, were also hosted by the Ambani family.
