For a very long time, there have been quite a few talks about Kareena Kapoor Khan being a part of a Sanjay Leela Bhansali film. For years now, the actress was on board to play the lead role of Mastani in 'Bajirao Mastani' and at that time Salman Khan was all set to play 'Bajirao'. Reports suggest that the makers had even shot for a poster in the early 2000s. But, things did not fall in place. Later Kareena was also signed for 'Ram Leela' but she walked out of the film just days before the shoot started.
Recently, in an interview with a leading media publication, Kareena Kapoor Khan who is ecstatic after the success of her radio stint was asked if there is something she wants that she has not achieved yet. Responding to that, the actress stated that she would like to do a film with Sanjay Leela Bhansali; although it would be only possible after her son Taimur is ten years old, as she cannot bear the fact of leaving him alone right now.
Kareena Kapoor Khan will next be seen in ‘Takht’ which will mark her comeback with director Karan Johar after 17 years. The duo had last worked together in ‘Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham' (2001). The film which is a period drama is slated for a release in 2020 and also stars Ranveer Singh, Bhumi Pednekar, Alia Bhatt, Vicky Kaushal, Anil Kapoor and Janhvi Kapoor in crucial roles.
Further, the actress will also share screen space with Akshay Kumar in 'Good News'.The actress was last seen in Veere Di Wedding alongside Shikha Talsania, Sonam Kapoor and Swara Bhasker.
