Kareena Kapoor: List of movies in which she stuns as an antagonist

Kareena Kapoor Khan is amongst the highest-paid actors in the Hindi film industry. Her journey from her debut movie Refugee (2000) is nothing but spectacular. Kareena is a versatile actor and has proved her mettle time and again by essaying a variety of characters on-screen in a large number of movies. She has also played negative roles in a few movies which were early in her acting career. In fact, while interacting with a media house at the Lakme Fashion Week Festive 2019, the actor claimed that she is ready to do another villainous role again if offered the same.

Fida (2004)

Kareena Kapoor and Shahid Kapoor shared screen space for the first time together in this film.Though the film is a box-office failure, Bebo’s performance in the film is highly appreciated by critics to date. Kareena plays an out-and-out negative role in the film. Her character Neha cons Jai (Shahid Kapoor) for saving her husband Vikram Singh (Fardeen Khan) from getting behind the bars for online theft. This is the first time in her career when Kareena Kapoor has essayed a negative character on screen and she has done it very convincingly. 

Bewafa (2005)

This Dharmesh Darshan directorial is a star-studded film with actors like Anil Kapoor, Akshay Kumar, Kareena Kapoor and Sushmita Sen in pivotal roles. The story revolves around the lines of infidelity and extramarital affairs. Kareena's character in the film has grey shades and she essayed the role beautifully. Kareena plays the role of Anjali, who gets married to a much older man who was her elder sister's (Sushmita Sen) husband prior to that. After Anjali's marriage to Aditya, she reconciles with her ex-boyfriend Raja (Akshay Kumar) and cheats on her husband with him.

Tashan (2008)

When Tashan hit the theatres, Kareena shocked the nation with her new slimmer 'Size Zero' avatar. She had lost a whopping 20 kilos for the same. Kareena plays a con woman in the film, who loots Anil Kapoor (Bhaiyaji), who is her boss and Saif Ali Khan (Jimmy), her lover. 

Kareena’s last film Veere Di Wedding did well at the box office. Her upcoming movies this year include Angrezi Medium opposite Irrfan Khan and Good Newwz with Akshay Kumar, which is a romantic comedy.
