Katrina Kaif gives fans a sneak peek into the sets of 'Bharat', shares new stills featuring Salman Khan

Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif starrer 'Bharat' is one of the most celebrated ventures of the year and is all set to hit the big screens on Eid 2019. Ahead of the same, Katrina Kaif gave fans a sneak peek into the sets of the upcoming venture.

Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif starrer 'Bharat' is one of the most celebrated ventures of the year and is all set to hit the big screens on Eid 2019. Ahead of the same, Katrina Kaif gave fans a sneak peek to the sets of the upcoming venture. The Bollywood diva shared a number of BTS pictures of herself and Salman on Instagram as she captioned the post saying, "Bharat on set".

In the first picture, she can be seen donning a big smile as she stands by Salman, who is busy fixing his make-up. In the second picture, the diva can be seen carrying the look of an architect. She can be seen sitting donning an orange shirt with maps and scales in front of her in the table. In the third picture, she can be seen standing in front of a jeep, holding files and back in her shoulder.

Meanwhile, 'Bharat' which also stars Disha Patani, Sunil Grover and Nora Fatehi in pivotal roles, is all set to hit the theatres on Eid in 2019. As per media reports, it is an official adaptation of Korean film 'An Ode To My Father'.

Set in the backdrop of Indian Independence, the film portrays the journey of a man named 'Bharat', played by Salman, in parallel with the journey of the country towards independence. With a tagline that reads: 'the journey of a man and a country together', the film features the actor in five different looks according to his age and profession as it follows his life from 1964 to 2010.

Director Ali Abbas Zafar had previously revealed that it is set in the backdrop of partition and the consequent refugee camps and said that it will feature one of the most traumatic times that the state has faced and will span from the 1960s to 1990s, after which it will move to current times. It has a tagline that reads: 'Journey of a man and a nation together'. The film is backed by Atul Agnihotri, Alvira Khan Agnihotri, Bhushan Kumar's T-Series and Salman Khan.
