Kedarnath Trailer Launch: Sushant Singh Rajput And Sara Ali Khan Make A Dazzling Entry

After receiving a positive response for the teaser that was released a few weeks back, the makers of ‘Kedarnath’ have now released the trailer of the film. Sara Ali Khan, Sushant Singh Rajput along with Ronnie Screwala, director Abhishek Kapoor and his wife were spotted at the trailer launch of the film.

After receiving a positive response for the teaser that was released a few weeks back, the makers of ‘Kedarnath’ have now released the trailer of the film. 'Kedarnath' will hit the box office on December 7, 2018, and will be Saif Ali Khan's daughter Sara Ali Khan's first film to hit the theatres. Sara Ali Khan, Sushant Singh Rajput along with Ronnie Screwala, director Abhishek Kapoor and his wife were spotted at the trailer launch of the film. From the pictures that have surfaced, Sara can be seen sporting a white and floral lehenga, while Sushant Singh Rajput was seen donning a grey-hued blazer and dark pants. He completed the look with formal shoes and his hair nicely done.

Reportedly, in the film Sushant Singh Rajput will be seen playing the role of a Muslim 'Pithoo', a tourist escort, whereas Sara Ali Khan will be seen portraying the role of a Hindu tourist. 'Kedarnath' is produced by Ronnie Screwala and Pragya Kapoor under the film production banners of RSVP and Guy in the Sky pictures. The film is said to be a love story set against the backdrop of Uttarakhand that jolted the North Indian state back in 2013.

Earlier, a senior BJP leader on Saturday, November 10 demanded a ban on the film, alleging that it hurts the sentiments of Hindus and promotes love jihad. Ajendra Ajay, who is part of the state BJP's media relations team, wrote to Central Board of Film Certification Chairman Prasoon Joshi that despite being set against the backdrop of one of the worst human tragedies, the film directed by Abhishek Kapoor undermines the Hindu sentiments.
