Akshay Kumar's big-budget film Kesari's much-awaited trailer is now here. From celebrities to the Twitterati, everyone is in for a good, or rather a great, shock!

Arjun Kapoor tweeted: "What a trailer !!! Emotionally uplifting, rooted in Indian culture, full on action mode for @akshaykumar sir after a while... can’t wait for this holi to be #kesari al the best @ParineetiChopra @karanjohar @amarbutala @SunirKheterpal & the leader of the team #anuragsingh !!!"

The story of Kesari revolves around the 21 Sikhs who fought till their last breath for their motherland against 10,000 Afghan invaders. This battle is widely known in our history and is known as the Battle of Saragarhi which was fought between Sikh soldiers of the British Indian Army and Pashtun Orakzai tribesmen on September 12, 1897.

Meanwhile, the trailer is receiving praises from all over, with people projecting it to be Akshay Kumar's first 'Rs. 200 crore film' and a blockbuster, already.

Akshay will be essaying the role of Havildar Ishar Singh who takes part in the Battle of Saragarhi. Directed by Anurag Singh and helmed by Dharma Productions, the film is all set to release on March 21, 2019.

On the professional front, apart from 'Kesari', Akshay has teamed up with Kareena Kapoor Khan in 'Good News', 'Mission Mangal' with his 'Hey Baby' actress Vidya Balan, Sonakshi Sinha and Taapsee Pannu. Akshay will also be seen in 'Housefull 4'.
