Khiladi Series

Akshay Kumar made a breakthrough in Bollywood with his first movie as a lead actor in Khiladi 1991. From this movie, he got his famous tag of being the Khiladi of Bollywood. Since then Akshay has done five movies in the Khiladi series. The veteran actor established himself as the action superstar with his extraordinary martial arts skills.

Ankhein

The 2002 movie portrayed Akshay Kumar as a blind actor training to rob a bank. Taking a role as a blind person for a superstar was a big deal in the early 2000s. The movie also starred big actors like Paresh Rawal and the legend Amitabh Bachchan.

Mujhse Shaadi Karogi.

The Khiladi Kumar was seen playing a quirky character in Mujhse Shaadi Karogi. The movie also stars Salman Khan and Priyanka Chopra. The role of a smart, slightly evil and fun-loving character was portrayed perfectly by Akshay Kumar.

Hera Pheri series

The Hey Babyy star took up the role of the nuisance creator Raju in the movie series. Akshay's depiction of the character became more and more hilarious in the two-part movie. From a poor guy to a rich person to being poor again because of his greed, Akshay made audiences laugh throughout the films.

Singh Is Kinng

Playing a character of a Sikh made Akshay Kumar proud and he was reported saying this to the media as well. Akshay played his character with such ease as well as pride. His character in the movie is a Sardar who is good at heart but ends up being a don. Akshay co-starred with Katrina Kaif in the film and their chemistry made the film an even better watch.

Jolly LLB 2

Reportedly, this movie was a big responsibility for Akshay Kumar as the previous movie of the Jolly LLB series was a big hit. The first instalment starred Arshad Warsi who did a fantastic job of winning the audience's hearts through his performance. Akshay took the job seriously and the courtroom drama was one of the biggest hit of the year.

The Desi Boys star was seen in a Tamil movie alongside the legendary actor Rajnikanth. The first edition of the movie was marvellous in the box-office and Akshay Kumar's presence in the second edition made 2.0 worth the watch. Akshay played the character of a dead scientist Pakshiraaj who turns into an evil spirit trying to take revenge for the deaths of birds in the city due to mobile phone. The look and the feel of his character felt real to the fans and it is something one can never forget.
