After delivering hits like 'Dilbar Dilbar' and 'Kamariya', Indi-Moroccan-Canadian actress Nora Fatehi who will soon star in Salman Khan's 'Bharat' opened up about her break-up with Angad Bedi.
From 'Who is Angad?' and refusing to talk about him, Nora spoke about the him on a show 'By Invite Only' where she said: "All girls go through at least once in their life! For me, it was a little bit difficult because it was an unexpected experience and I was broken by it. I don't want people to think that when you are low and dabble with depression that you are not strong. You are still strong! I lost my drive for 2 months! However, I must say that experience really just transformed me. In between, I had lost hope for a bit in terms of perusing my career but when that breakup happened I got that fire again and I was like let’s go!”
She further added, “I am passionate again, I want to work, I want to make my mark, I want to prove everybody wrong and I can’t regret that break up because if it wasn’t for that breakup, my fire wouldn't have come back and I needed that fire to kind of just explore.”
Nora also stated, “I feel like after the experience I went through in 2018…after you go down, you only go up, there is no other way! Hence, I needed that boom you know for me to come back and say now I am ready.”
Talking about how she got her confidence back, Nora recalled an incident that reminded her of what she was three years back. The time when she told herself 'Nora wake up!'. She said: "When I was called to audition for 'Bharat' which was way before 'Dilbar' happened... I remember after my audition, I came down I was sitting on the bench, crying and felt shitty that where is my drive and my ambition? Then this one girl comes up to me and says 'Ma'am can you please record this audition for me', I was crying, and I took her phone and she stands against the wall and I start recording.
"As I was recording I don't think anyone can imagine what I was actually seeing. I am like that is me! For three years, I did auditions back to back, I waited in line for hours, I auditioned among 200/300 people, I went crazy at home, staying up all night learning lines and scenes. I thought to myself, that girl is me! I was like, 'Nora wake up! Where is your hunger? There are hundreds and thousands of people who are talented just like you, who are good looking, who are killing themselves to make that happen, you need to get back', and suddenly, I got my confidence back and that was it."
When she was asked to choose between Vicky Kaushal, Angad Bedi and Sidharth Malhotra for 'Kill, Marry, Hook Up', she said: "Kill Angad, hook up (with) Vicky, marry Sidharth Malhotra"
On the work front, Nora Fatehi will be seen sharing the screen space with Varun Dhawan and Shraddha Kapoor in 'Street Dancer 3D'.
