Salman Khan got emotional and posted a touching message on social media after the death of his pet 'My love'.

Salman Khan got emotional and posted a touching message on social media after the death of his pet. Sharing a picture of him petting 'My love', he wrote on Twitter and Instagram, called her 'the most beautiful ever' and praying to God to bless her soul. Later, the superstar shared another snap of an affectionate moment with 'My love' and captioned it, "Kisses my love.'

Not just the Salman family, even some of his actresses expressed their grief on social media. Sonakshi Sinha also uploaded a selfie with 'My love', with the message, "Rest in peace beautiful baby girl."

Salman's 'Prem Ratan Dhan Payo' co-stars Sonam Kapoor and Neil Nitin Mukesh, ex-sister-in-law Malaika Arora Khan's sister Amrita Arora, Esha Gupta, Sophie Choudry, among others also conveyed their feelings, by posting love smileys and writing 'RIP.'

At the time of the release of 'Race 3', Salman had shared a fun photograph of 'My love' enjoying the song 'Selfish', crooned by him, as it played on the TV screens.

'My love' was a Neapolitan Mastiff and the actor also had another pet of the same breed named Myson. Before he got these two, the 'Dabangg' actor had another pet named Veer. Incidentally, he had also starred in the film 'Veer' where he played the titular role in 2010.

On the professional front, Salman will next be seen in a cameo in 'Zero' opposite Shah Rukh Khan. The film, directed by Aanand L Rai, is gearing up for release on 21 December and also stars Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif. The star is currently working on 'Bharat' and completed a schedule in Abu Dhabi recently. The movie, directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, also stars Katrina, Sunil Grover and also features a cameo from Varun Dhawan. The film, produced by his brother-in-law Atul Agnihotri, is gearing up for release on Eid next year. Salman is also being rumoured to do a film with Sanjay Leela Bhansali, and has also confirmed he will work on 'Dabangg 3' and 'Kick 2' soon.
