John Abraham's ‘RAW: Romeo Akbar Walter’, has finally hit the theatres but is gaining mixed reviews from the audience and the critics. Giving the film 1 and a half stars, Film critic and business analyst Taran Adarsh stated that the film lacked thrill and grip.
Hitting out a tweet on his social media platform, Taran wrote, "Interesting stories don’t necessarily translate into interesting films... Half-baked writing + slow pacing play spoilsport... John, Jackie Shroff and Sikandar Kher excel... This thriller lacks thrill and grip. #RAWReview"
As per media reports, the action thriller portrays John as a spy and is based on true events that happened in India during the 1970s. John, who now appears to be more into films will a patriotic zeal, will collaborate with producer Ajay Kapoor for the second time for the project after 'Parmanu: The Story of Pokhran'.
Meanwhile, the 'Force' actor will also be seen in Nikkhil Advani's 'Batla House' which is inspired by the September 2008 Batla House encounter case. The film also stars Mrunal Thakur and is set to release on August 15, 2019.
Apart from this, he recently confirmed that he will star in a biker film. The same was confirmed by Trade Analyst Taran Adarsh.
